This captivating tour explores the century-long struggle for land in the Frontier Country of the Eastern Cape, which played an instrumental role in shaping the rest of South Africa’s heritage.

Alan reveals how the Xhosa, the Khoi-Khoi, immigrant farmers and British settlers were all inextricably bound together, and torn apart, in the battles that took place for over a hundred years during the Frontier wars.
